Coach and Mentor

In my current position, I have the honor of helping to coach and mentor staff in their roles and aspirations in seeing their potential and helping them understand how to reach it. I provide regular feedback and praise for what is working and what needs more work and what that work looks like to achieve their goals.

Over the last several years, I've had been able to help guide and train many staff as well as provide direct coaching and feedback sessions to these individuals. When it comes to feedback sessions, I make sure to fully understand their goals first then talk through how I see them actively working towards, maybe some blind spots they have missed and how to be more aware of them and work on them, and how to continue to build up their foundation so they can move forward in their careers. I also invite them stretch into the role that want to achieve by providing practical ideas of how to step into the next level with confidence and actively help them find ways to build and showcase their skills. I also share ideas with executive leaders on what I see is happening on the team and how to help improve the environment for everyone since sometimes top level executives don't see the daily encounters that shape the health of the workplace.
